Dr. Jordi Monés participates in the discussion on “Research in Catalonia. Diagnosis and the way forward”

Dr. Jordi Monés, MD, PhD, the ophthalmologist specialising in macula, retina and vitreous and the Medical Director of the Barcelona Macula Foundation: Research for Vision, will participate in the debate “Research in Catalonia. Diagnosis and the way forward.” The event on Thursday 11 December is organised by the CYD Foundation (Knowledge and Development Foundation), the law firm Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira and the Catalan Research and Innovation Foundation

The discussion –open to all the participants– will be moderated by Joan Guinovart, the Director of the Biomedical Research Institute; Josep M. Martorell, the Director General of Research of the Autonomous Government of Catalonia Government; and Lluís Torner, Director of the Institute of Photonic Sciences. It will provide analysis of the current state of research in Catalonia using  examples and successful cases.
