Eduardo Rodríguez, MSc, joins the BMF

The BMF was happy to welcome the investigator Eduardo Rodríguez Bocanegra, MSc., who joined the institution several months ago from the Andalusian Centre for Molecular Biology and Regenerative Medicine (CABIMER), in Seville. Mr Rodríguez, is a graduate in Biology and he holds a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Biotechnology. He has worked on basic research studies aimed at the creation of cell models of patients with degenerative retinal diseases.

At the BMF, Mr. Rodríguez takes part in the EYE-RISK and Advance(CAT) projects and he supports the production of animal models of geographic atrophy for research, the recording of images and cell implantation. He also helps to analyse results and creates presentations that set out developments for different international congresses and meetings.
