Jordi Mones has presented the research of atrophic AMD at the Barraquer Institute

The director of the Barcelona Macula Foundation (BMF), Dr. Jordi Mones, has participated last Friday Intensive Course “Diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the macula”, organized by the Instituto Barraquer. His presentation was on the research in atrophic AMD, -which are the basis of the action at the BMF-, like retinal tissue transplantation, the use of mesenchymal stem cells or access to new technologies such as lasers and electric subretinal prostheses.
