Marc Biarnés explains to betevé the BMF’s involvement in CosmoCaixa

The Barcelona television channel, betevé, covered the new initiation by the Top Ciencia program at CosmoCaixa extensively, which was carried out in collaboration with the Institut de la Màcula and the Barcelona Macula Foundation: Research for Vision. Dr Marc Biarnés, a researcher at the BMF and Coordinator of Clinical Trials and Clinical Epidemiology at the IM, explained the contents that make up Retina: New treatments for curing blindness.

Biarnés highlighted the “great challenge” that degenerative diseases pose for science, illnesses in which “the retina deteriorates and for which there is currently no treatment”. Along with Eduardo Rodríguez and Anna Borrell he ran a training session at CosmoCaixa, designed to explain the interactive areas displayed in the exhibition to the guides who lead the school visit tours.
