The Megaomega4dry study – a phase 2 randomized, double-maskedmask study to establish the safety and efficacy of high dose of oral omega 3 in subjects with geographic atrophy secondary to dry age-related macular degeneration.
The objectives of this study are to evaluate the safety and efficacy of HDO3 on the photoreceptors/retinal pigment epithelium/”Bruch’s membrane complex in subjects with GA-AMD and to evaluate whether there is an improvement in visual function and the possible delay of the progression of atrophy.
