Dr. Monés attends the MOP, the 8th International Congress on Age-Related Macular Degeneration, in Paris

The Macula of Paris, the 8th International Congress on Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) will be held in the City of Light on Friday 10 January. On this occasion, the event is titled “Retinal imaging: the future”.

During the day, ophthalmologists and international experts on the retina will explain new techniques and uses of scanners which improve the treatment of the retina and its pathologies.

Among the speakers participating in the sessions are Giovanni Staurenghi, Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Milan and Director of the University Biomedicine and Clinical Science Department of the Luigi Sacco Hospital in Milan and Jayakrishna Ambati, Professor of Physiology and Professor and Vice-Chair of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences of the University of Kentucky. Both are members of the Scientific Committee of the Barcelona Macula Foundation. Dr. Jordi Monés, Medical Director and Opthlamologist of the Foundation will also be attending the event.
