Dr. Monés speaks at the presentation of the Barça Innovation Hub

The Medical Director of the BMF, Jordi Monés, in his position as Commissioner of FCB Universitas, has given an address at the presentation of the Barça Innovation Hub. This is the product of the club’s commitment to become a global benchmark in «knowledge and innovation». Followed live by Peking University and FC Barcelona’s office in Hong Kong, Dr Monés highlighted the «commitment with the values» of the club, which obliges it to «reinvent itself through knowledge and innovation».

We have to accept we do not know everything, and we must learn from the best. If we cannot find it, we must generate it and then we must share it

«We have to accept —Dr Monés said- that we are humble, that we do not know everything, and we must learn from the best (knowledge acquisition). If we cannot find it, we must generate it (knowledge generation), create it (innovation), and then we must explain it and share it with partners (knowledge dissemination), agents and universities. Finally, we must transfer this knowledge so that it turns into something real, into elements that can be applied in our day-to-day existence». Dr Monés explained that «to carry out this project, our aim is to partner institutions, companies, academics and all the actors in the field of knowledge».
