“We have a dream” at the Barcelona Macula Foundation

On the occasion of the World Retina Day on Sunday, 28 September, “We have a dream” at the Barcelona Macula Foundation.

Our dream is to discover a cure for Pigmentary Retinosis and this is why it is necessary to publicise and raise society’s awareness of the disease. With it affecting some 3,000 people in Catalonia, research is essential to find a cure.

The Barcelona Macula Foundation works with a variety of international research centres in the search for a treatment for the retinal diseases that cause blindness like Pigmentary Retinosis.

The WR Storytelling agency, its creative director Richard Wakefield and all the team have collaborated with the Barcelona Macula Foundation in directing and creating a video to raise funds for research into Pigmentary Retinosis.

We at the Barcelona Macula Foundation would like to thank especially Ramon Morancho, the protagonist of the video for the “We have a dream” campaign. He has two daughters with Pigmentary Retinosis and dreams of restoring sight to everyone who suffers from this pathology.

Research is the only solution for the future to fight against blindness

It is only with your help that we can fight against blindness
