Dr. Jordi Monés will be participating in the 2nd World Vision Day Conference: “Researching Today Means Curing Tomorrow”
Dr. Jordi Monés, MD, PhD, the Medical Director of the Barcelona Macula Foundation, will be giving a conference on retinal research at the second science and outreach conference hosted by Visión España—in cooperation with the Magna Myopia Association (AMIRES)—in celebration of World Vision Day, which this year falls on 9 October. The talks will be held on Monday, 13 October, at the Hospital Clínico in Madrid.
In his lecture, titled “Investigación en DMAE: exudativa y atrófica. Ensayos Clínicos y pre-Clínicos” (“AMD Research: Exudative and Atrophic. Clinical and Pre-Clinical Trials”), Dr. Jordi Monés will be presenting the progress that is currently being made in retinal disease research.
Visión España is a non-profit organisation that was born out of the need to join forces to fight against the eye diseases that cause low vision. The association aims to raise public awareness of the more than one million people in Spain who suffer from low vision, while working to help them normalise their situation and improve their personal independence.
